Have you ever had the experience of thinking about something and
out of the blue a total stranger provides you with the answer you
were looking for? Have you ever been in a position to help
someone you don’t even know because you were at the right place
at the right time? If you wonder why these experiences are possible,
it is because spiritually we are all connected.
The true story that I am about to share with you happened to me a
few years ago. A Monday evening, I came home, to find a message
on my phone for someone I did not know. I thought nothing of it and
dismissed it as a wrong number. The following day, I again found
a similar message on my phone, and again I ignored it. After the
fourth messages I decided to call the originator of this call
because the message appeared to be urgent, and the woman
had left her phone number for this young man to call back. I also
was curious because the message was in French and the person
was from a small town in Quebec. Since I was myself from Montreal
I began to wonder if this was only a coincidence that someone in a
small Quebec town would dial a wrong number four time and the
call would happened to be to another French speaking home eight
hundred kilometers away.
I finally talked to the person that left the message on my phone
on Thursday. She apologized telling me that she did not dial my
number she does not understand why I was the one getting the
message. She gave me the number she was trying to call so I could
check if the lines where crossing. The number was out of service.
She was as surprise as I was. While talking she explained to me that
she was trying to connect with her brother because their father was
very ill and dying and that he wanted to see his only son before he
departed from this earth. I told her that I was very sorry that I could not
be of help, because I did not know her brother. Before she hang up the
phone she asked me if I know a Place called Angel Of Mercy. I told her
no I had never heard that name before. She told me that it was a non
profit organization that helps people in need. This is the number she
had dial to reach her brother.
After I said good bye to Francine. I forgot about our conversation.
Saturday morning as usual I went to do my grocery shopping.
On my way back I took a different road because the police was
redirecting the traffic because of an accident. As I was driving
I noticed that Sobeys had toilet paper on special for a very good
price. Although I had never been to this particular store, I decided
to stop and get the toilet paper. As I was pulling out of the
parking lot I noticed across the street a sign marked Angel Of
Mercy. I could not believe my eyes, my blood turn cold, and I
started shaking. I stopped the car. After I came back to my
senses, I crossed the street and entered the place. A young guy
with a French accent was having a conversation with a client. I
waited. As soon as he looked in my direction I approached him and
asked if he was from Quebec and if he had a sister called Francine.
He said yes. I told him that I had a strange story to share with him.
He listen politely to the whole story. He told me that he appreciated
the fact that I came to the place to give him the message. He also
told me that he would call home that evening. I left him my phone
number and I want home.
On Monday evening, Francine called me back to thank me. She
told me that thanks to me her father had the opportunity to speak
to her brother before he passed on.
Later on that day as I was reviewing that whole experience I
realized that spiritually we are all connected and consequently
when we are open and willing to help others, the Law of Attraction,
which is a powerful force, will make it possible for us to participate
and assist others in the manifestation of their desires. It became clear
to me that this father wanted so much to talk to his son before
departing from this dimension that his spirit orchestrated to whole set
of events that occurred. My feeling about what had occurred, was
confirmed two weeks later when I stopped by Pierre’s work to present
my condolences. He told me that his father told him, that his spirit
chose me because his spirit knew that I would find his son.
I don’t live in a small town, Toronto is a big cosmopolitan city.I strongly
believe this was not a coincidence because coincidences don’t really
exist. I believe that the power of the Law of Attraction was set in motion
by the strong desire of this father to connect with his son, created that
chain of events that I just shared with you.
